Good coffee at very high prices. It's a shame, good marketing seems to cost a lot.

Love the good selection of coffee blends that the cafe has, and that the blends are showcased in these funnels as if they were part of the decor. The seating is comfortable and there is a choice to sit at a smaller table or a larger, communal table. I particularly like the atmosphere at this cafe. It offers a laid back setting so the clientele are generally warm and equally laid back.

GEILER coffee, good selection and good advice. The prices are ok too.

A place to choose your coffee or just dip yourself in coffee fragrance. They sell lot of fresh beans and tell you in detail about the flavours offered. Also serve coffee and cakes. Some of the best ones

Of all the elbgold places this is the nicest place in my opinion. Yummy cakes, breakfast, sandwiches. A little too noisy if you sit inside, very nice to sit outside.

Super delicious cafe and vegan breakfast options. The Franzbrötchen are some of the tastiest I've ever eaten. The prices are fair considering the quality and the nice atmosphere. We would love to come back.

Great coffee, delicious Franzbrötchen. Whenever I'm in Hamburg I come here every time, drink a "cold brewed" and take a pack of filter coffee home with me - I can only recommend Elbgold.

Great coffee, every coffee can be tasted with every brewing method! They have oat and soy milk and also lots of vegan cake options! Super friendly staff!

Best coffee I've had in Hamburg so far. However, you cannot choose from a variety of beans like you can usually do at smaller coffee roasters. The place looks fancy and is furbished with a simple, dark design. Staff was very friendly. I can also recommend the banana bread. There is also a bit of space outside to enjoy the coffee right there and then.

Really good coffee. As a portafilter owner, it is difficult to get good coffee out. I was really excited here. Well worth the visit. Also really great as to go coffee.

We recommend. Good coffee and a great selection of cakes. Unfortunately not suitable for working or for a quiet conversation, but you always get a coffee here that is well prepared and a delicious cheesecake.

The best coffee by far. Always the same quality. Great advice and perfectly prepared coffee. The temperature and preparation of the milk is always right. The coffee is never bitter or too hot. As it should always be, but unfortunately it is often not elsewhere. Therefore, anyone who wants to experience and enjoy coffee is well served here.

Coffee lovers! Local coffee roster to try fresh great tasting coffee or by variety of beans. Absolutely recommended and it worth every penny you pay for coffee here. Also New York cheese cake for some sweet lovers is a must try. Picture is double Cortado my favourite and cheese cake

Essential for those who like and understand coffe

We spent Xmas in Hamburg and were staying in a very friendly hotel nearby. This is the place they sent me to when I asked them for "a very good café". 1) the coffee in all variations is amazing. 2) these guys know how to roast coffee without burning it: the coffee is not even bitter, even when strong. 3) they offer several varieties and mixes, and can prepare your favourite beverage with it. Our choice was "Neunbar". 4) you can buy coffee 5) They offer of selection of trendy food 6) a trendy location! arrive before 9:30 am or be ready to wait for a seat - or try your luck another time.

Coffee is good, nothing to complain. Location takes getting used to. Staff can be nice, but mostly isn‘t. Food is alright. What I don’t get is the crowd. I’ve never seen so many coffee drinking rich kids in one place. Porsches and Teslas are parked outside. It’s a see and be seen kind of place, so if you’re thinking about quietly enjoying a cup and reading a book or doing some work, go somewhere else. The noise level is insane.

One of the best coffees I ever tried. This is a place for people who enjoy coffee and appreciate the culture of drinking coffee. The ambient is also great. I love that you can see how the coffee is made before its served to you.

Best coffee, nice place!

State of the art barista arts. Several coffees of the day and also a huge variety of all sorts of coffee plus several milks. They also offer a good sorts of muesli and cakes and cookies, also donuts. They offer seats inside and outside. They only thing that can be a little annoying is the waiting time - therefore just 4 stars. Especially on the weekends it can be tough if you're coming as a group. And last but not least: cacao with wipped cream :)
